TTC Stuff-the-Bus Discount Card Holiday Giveaway - Terms and Conditions

This holiday season the TTC will be giving away free discount cards to the TTC Shop (TTCShop.ca), according to the terms and conditions below, to promote participation in the TTC’s 2025 Stuff-the-Bus toy and gift drive campaign (encouraging the donation of new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children to be distributed to charities supporting children and families) (the “Giveaway”).

1. Giveaway Period

The Giveaway begins on November 13, 2025 at 12:01 AM EST and ends on January 8, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST (“Giveaway Period”).

2. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open to any person who is an Ontario resident and eighteen (18) years of age or older.

Employees (including regular full-time, regular part-time, temporary full-time, temporary part-time, student full-time, student part-time, co-op, casual and fixed term) of the TTC, the employees’ immediate family (spouse, parent, sibling and child) and any person with whom employees are domiciled are not eligible for the Giveaway.

3. Giveaway

Any eligible person who makes a donation of a new, unwrapped toy or gift to TTC’s 2025 Stuff-the-Bus toy and gift drive campaign will receive a discount card for use on the TTC Shop website at https://www.ttcshop.ca/ during the Giveaway Period.

4. Use of Discount Card

The discount card can only be used by scanning the QR Code to receive fifteen (15%) percent off a valid online purchase on the TTC Shop website at https://www.ttcshop.ca/ from November 13, 2025 at 12:01 AM EST until January 11, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST.

The discount card is only valid for one (1) use per customer.

The discount card may not be combined with any other offers, discounts, or promotions.

Select products may be excluded.

A minimum qualifying amount applies to merchandise only and excludes gift cards, packaging, applicable taxes, and shipping & handling fees.

5. Release of Liability and Limitation of Liability

By participating in the Giveaway, each person accepts and agrees to, (a) have accepted these terms and conditions; (b) be bound by the decisions of the TTC; and (c) waive any and all claims against the TTC and Van-Smith Enterprises dba SVS Marketing and their board members, directors, officers and employees for any injury, damage, or loss that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from the person’s participation or attempted participation in the Giveaway, from receipt of or misuse of the discount card, or for the cancellation or suspension of the Giveaway.

Neither the TTC nor Van-Smith Enterprises dba SVS Marketing shall be responsible for any lost, stolen, illegible or destroyed discount cards following give away.

Neither the TTC nor Van-Smith Enterprises dba SVS Marketing shall be responsible for technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, faulty incomplete, incomprehensible, or erased computer or network transmissions, line failures of any telephone network, failure of computer equipment, software, inability to access any online service or web site, inability to participate in the Giveaway, or any other error or malfunction, or an injury or damage to a person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in the Giveaway or downloading these terms and conditions.

6. Cancel and Amend

The TTC reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Giveaway or to amend these terms and conditions at any time in any way, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever.  Without limiting the foregoing, if for any reason the Giveaway is not capable of running as originally planned, or due to technical failure, computer virus or bug, unauthorized human intervention, fraud or any other occurrence or cause beyond TTC’s control, the TTC reserves the right to cancel or suspend the Giveaway.

7. Laws and Rules

The Giveaway will be carried out in accordance with these terms and conditions, which shall be subject to amendment by the TTC without notice or liability to any person participating or attempting to participate in the Giveaway. 

The decisions of TTC in relation to the Giveaway will be final and binding on any person participating or attempting to participate in the Giveaway.

The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations and is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and each person participating or attempting to participate in the Giveaway, or making a purchase or attempting to make a purchase to participate or attempt to participate in the Giveaway, submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the City of Toronto and Province of Ontario.
